Long Valley mixes farmland, older homes and newer neighborhoods, and each brings its own pests. Prestige Pest Unit provides pest control, exterminator services and rodent removal in Long Valley, NJ, so one team handles the mice, ticks, ants and stink bugs.
Prestige Pest Unit is a local, owner-run business based in Franklin, NJ, serving homes across Morris and Sussex County. You get a straight answer on the phone and a technician who explains what was found.
For problems beyond the everyday, our exterminator services cover bed bugs, roaches, wasps and more.
Pest control, exterminator and rodent removal in Long Valley are rarely separate jobs. Mice in a barn or garage often end up in the house, and the same gaps let in stink bugs and spiders, so we treat the whole property as one job.
When the fields are cut and the nights cool down, mice and fall invaders look for shelter, and homes next to open land see them first. A fall inspection finds the gaps before they become a winter problem.
Through the year, Long Valley homes see ticks and ants in spring, wasps and mosquitoes in summer, and mice and stink bugs in the fall. Older farmhouses with stone foundations and many additions have more gaps to seal, so they benefit most from a fall check.

In 1705, a number of German Reformed, residing between Wolfenbüttel and Halberstadt, fled to Neuwied, a town of Rhenish Prussia, where they remained for two years before proceeding on to Holland. In 1707, they embarked for the British colony of New York. Before arriving, their ship was blown off-course to the south, where they were carried into the Delaware Bay and landed in Philadelphia. From there, they embarked by land eastward to what became known as the “German Valley” in what was then called “Nova Caesaria” (New Jersey), located in today’s Morris County, New Jersey.
